Review Process

This page explains, in brief, how we review and rate cryptocurrency exchanges and related platforms on CryptoRunner.com. Our goal is to give you a clear, comparable overview, not to provide personal financial advice. 

We combine structured data with our own research and hands-on testing. For each platform, we review official documentation, fees and terms, available products and features, and what is publicly communicated about regulation and security. Where possible, we create accounts, explore the interface, and try support channels to see how the platform performs in practice.   

Each platform is assessed across four core categories and given a score on a 1 to 5 scale in each of them, as well as an overall rating as a quick summary. These scores are meant to help you compare options at a glance, not to tell you which platform to use.

In Value for Money, we look at how expensive or cost-effective a platform is for typical users. We consider the overall fee picture, including trading costs and other relevant charges, as well as whether the features offered feel reasonable for the price. Platforms that offer competitive pricing and good functionality relative to their costs score higher in this category.

Verification reflects how well a platform appears to protect users and follow relevant rules. We consider factors such as regulatory status, security practices and identity verification standards, as well as how clearly the platform communicates about risks and protections. Platforms that demonstrate stronger regulation and security measures receive higher scores.

Ease of Use describes how straightforward it is for a typical person to sign up, deposit, trade and manage their account. We look at the overall user experience, including platform design, availability of mobile apps and how intuitive it feels to perform common tasks. Platforms that are simpler to navigate and more accessible for everyday users score higher here.

Support measures how easy it is to get help when you need it. We consider which support channels are available and, where possible, how responsive and helpful the support team is in practice. Platforms that offer timely and useful help through clear support channels receive higher scores in this category.
